Chairperson of the National Women Council (NCW) Maya Morsi has praised successful cooperation with the Egyptian Family House in terms of launching women development-linked initiatives nationwide.

She also lauded on Monday 8/11/2021the fruitful partnership between the council and the Egyptian church since 2017 to raise awareness about women issues.

Morsi stressed that the Egyptian religious leaderships greatly support the issues of women, highlighting the significance of Al-Azhar’s document on women rights.

She also commended the backing of Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed Tayyeb and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark., who both issued several statements to condemn violence against women and urged to respect women.
