In continuation of the efforts of the Naval Forces to support maritime search and rescue operations in all strategic direction

In continuation of the efforts of the Naval Forces to support maritime search and rescue operations in all strategic directions, elements of the Naval Forces succeeded in rescuing an illegal immigration boat with (45) individuals on board at a distance of (96) nautical miles from Salloum.

The General Command of the Armed Forces issued its orders to provide support and relief to one of the boats that was transporting individuals for the purpose of illegal immigration after receiving a distress call from it.

Immediately, the Naval Forces dispatched a naval unit from the July 3 base equipped with all medical and administrative needs to carry out relief and evacuation work for the individuals on board, where they were able to rescue (45) individuals of Egyptian nationality and hand them over to the competent authorities to take the necessary measures regarding them.
