The National Dialogue’s Board of Trustees will hold an emergency session on Saturday to announce its measures to support Egypt’s firm stance amid the rising regional tensions.

According to the board’s statement, this session is expected to contribute in every possible way to strengthening Egypt’s national security and higher interests.

The statement added that the decision came during a meeting held on Monday as part of the dialogue’s ongoing follow-up on the latest regional developments.

This meeting discussed the ongoing escalations and intensifying conflict in the region, which poses a significant threat to regional security and stability.

Upon President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s request, the board emphasized the priority of national security and foreign policy issues in the dialogue’s ongoing and future activities
