Nasr presents his credentials as Egypt’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE

Ambassador Mohamed Nasr, Egypt’s Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, presented his credentials as Egypt’s Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), during his meeting on September 16, 2024 with Ms. Catherine Veron, Acting Secretary-General of the Organization, at the latter’s headquarters in the Austrian capital, Vienna.

The Acting Secretary-General of the Organization welcomed Ambassador Mohamed Nasr, wishing him success in his mission, and appreciating the traditionally positive relations between Egypt and the Organization, within Egypt’s position as one of the OSCE’s Mediterranean Partnership countries. She pointed out that the unprecedented challenges facing the international arena, especially in the European continent, require continuous dialogue and consultation with the Organization’s partners to address the security, development and humanitarian repercussions of these challenges on the inter
national community.

For his part, Ambassador Mohamed Nasr stressed Egypt’s appreciation for its long-standing relationship with the OSCE within the framework of the Mediterranean partnership with the organization. He also praised the training activities and technical cooperation programs implemented between Egypt and the organization in areas of common interest. He also expressed Egypt’s aspiration to enhance existing cooperation in the future.
