NAC’s mass transport networks all ready to serve commuters: Transport ministry

The New Administrative Capital’s mass transport networks are all ready to ensure that commuters get an efficient, high quality, and safe transport service, Chairman of the Internal and International Transport Regulatory Agency at the Ministry of Transport Sayed Metwally said.

The service is also available at lower rates under monthly subscriptions, Metwally added during an interview with MENA on Monday.

Subscribers could save up to 50 per cent of the original expenses, he said.

In addition to its diversified transportation modes, which help in reducing travel time, the network depends on clean sources of energy, Metwally pointed out, noting that the service also takes into account the needs of people with disabilities.

Metwally also pointed to the efforts made to ensure the highest quality of urban mobility and safety and regulate commuters’ movement at assembly or transit points in Greater Cairo.
