The National Alliance for Civil Work for Development (NACDW) is set to launch the largest initiative for social protection in Egypt’s history.
The “shoulder to shoulder” initiative primarily aims to support citizens in the governorates and shed light on a new model of social solidarity and support among people.
In a statement Monday, the alliance said that the initiative aims to provide as many as four million food boxes, which will be delivered to all governorates before the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
Since the NACDW’s inauguration in March 2022, it has had a major role in enriching civil work, and provided an opportunity for partnership between civil society organizations to support the most needy groups.
