RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Music Commission has unveiled details of the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra concert, which will be held in London on 28th September, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
Music Commission CEO Paul Pacifico said in a press conference that the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra initiative aims to elevate national music to new horizons, make it accessible to all, foster intercultural dialogue, and build bridges of understanding between peoples.
Pacifico also highlighted the success achieved by the orchestra at previous concerts, held in Mexico, Paris, and New York, thanks to the support of Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Music Commission Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, and the efforts of a constellation of creative musicians from the Saudi National Orchestra and choir.
The fourth performance, in London, of the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra is held under the patronage of Prince Badr. The aim is to share Saudi musical heritage with the world.
