Abuja – The inaugural flight of the Abuja-Casablanca route was operated on Sunday by Morocco’s flag carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
The inauguration of this flight, marked by the traditional “water salute” ceremony, took place in the presence of Morocco’s ambassador to Nigeria, Moha Ou Ali Tagma, RAM’s regional representative in Nigeria, Ahmed Anouar Boussouf, the Director of Operations at Abuja International Airport, Oyenekan Oloyede, and several other personalities.
On this occasion, many of the flight’s passengers expressed their joy and satisfaction at the inauguration of this direct route serving Casablanca from the Nigerian capital, with a planned frequency of 3 flights a week (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday).
