Amman – Morocco, represented by its Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, participates in the global forum on Youth, Peace and Security, which opened on Wednesday in Amman.
This international event, attended by a host of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, is marked by the launch of the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace and Security 2023-2028.
Developed by a committee led by Jordan, represented by its Ministry of Youth, in line with the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, this Strategy aims to foster national commitment and global support for participatory action and dialogue. It seeks to establish a platform where participants can share knowledge, practices and build strong partnerships to advance the agenda for Youth, Peace, and Security initiatives.
This plan also aims to identify mechanisms, approaches and means proposed by the youth that can be collectively used to promote and implement the Youth, Peace, and Security agenda among the member states of the Arab Le
ague, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and identifying priorities for these states.
Initiated over two days by Jordan’s Ministry of Youth, this high-level event will be marked by dialogue sessions on mechanisms for promoting and implementing the youth, peace and security agenda, as well as member States’ priorities in developing the Strategy’s action plan.
