Rabat – Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received Ambassador Albert Shingiro, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Republic of Burundi, in Rabat on Thursday.

During their talks, the two ministers praised the exemplary nature of relations between the two countries, and reaffirmed their commitment to make every effort to develop, intensify and diversify their cooperation in several fields, in accordance with the political will expressed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and His Excellency President Évariste Ndayishimiye.

On this occasion, the two ministers signed a joint communiqué, and agreed to sign Roadmap 2025-2027 at the next Joint Cooperation Commission, to be held in Burundi.
