DUBAI: Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), awarded the Green Certificate to the Central Grievance Committee of the Dubai Government.

The certificate was presented by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA to Khalfan Harib, Chairman of Central Grievance Committee at WETEX 2024, the region’s largest sustainability and clean energy technology exhibition which runs from 1st to 3rd of October at Dubai World Trade Center.

Recognising the Committee’s dedication to sustainability through the adoption of Moro Green Cloud services, the certificate also underscores the Committee’s pledge to responsible digital transformation, thus contributing to the UAE’s long-term sustainability goals.

The partnership aligns with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative, Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, and Dubai Net-Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050 aiming for 100% clean energy production capacity by 2050. The partnership with Central Grievance Committee is centered on advancing the operations of the Committee, with the use of latest fourth industrial revolution technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and IoT that will help them achieve environmental sustainability and enhance the drive of green economy. Our joint efforts contribute to Dubai’s status as a global model for sustainable and smart living.”
