More than 3,500 children are at risk of starvation in Gaza

Gaza – Together – The government media office in Gaza said on Monday that more than 3,500 children under the age of five are at risk of death in the Gaza Strip due to policies of starvation, food shortages, lack of nutritional supplements, and prevention of aid by the occupation.

He pointed out that these children suffer from malnutrition to an advanced degree that has affected the structure of their bodies, which actually exposes them to the risk of contracting infectious diseases that destroy their lives, delay their growth, and threaten their survival.

He said, “These children lack basic services such as food, health care, and regular medical follow-up.”

The office noted that their conditions are worsening and becoming more difficult as they are deprived of the vaccinations and medication doses allocated to them at the beginning of their lives.

He stressed that children in the Gaza Strip need a radical and immediate solution to all the crises to which they are systematically exposed by the occupation.

T
he government office in Gaza said that the occupation killed (15,438) children during the genocidal war and injured tens of thousands.

He pointed out that more than 17,000 children live without one or both of their parents.

The office called on the International Criminal Court and all other international courts and all free judges in the world to pursue war criminals in the occupying state and the Americans who systematically target children.

He also called on the countries of the free world and all international and international organizations to put pressure on the occupation and the Americans in order to stop the genocidal war, open the Rafah land crossing, the Kerem Shalom crossing, and all land crossings, and allow the entry of children’s food of various types.
