Israel slapped travel bans on more than 10,000 Palestinians from the West Bank last year, according to a freedom of information request seen by Haaretz, measures deemed arbitrary and unfair by human rights groups. Information released by the Israeli Civil Administration show that 10,594 Palestinians were prevented from travelling abroad due to “security reasons”.
