ABU DHABI: The Ministry of Interior has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) at its Abu Dhabi headquarters. This partnership is designed to enhance collaboration in training, development, and the exchange of practical expertise, all aimed at strengthening the skills and knowledge of their employees through advanced training programmes.
The MoU was signed by Major-General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Salem Humaid Al Marri, Director-General of MBRSC. Major-General Al Khaili highlighted the Ministry’s broad commitment to fostering cooperative relationships with both governmental and private institutions across the UAE. He stated that this partnership aligns with the Ministry’s vision of uniting efforts with key stakeholders to improve operational systems, enhance service delivery, and contribute to the overall well-being of society. He further remarked that the MoU represents a strategic move to leverage shared
expertise between the Ministry and MBRSC, ensuring the continued pursuit of excellence and institutional leadership.
This collaboration will play a key role in preparing human capital for the UAE’s future ambitions through specialised training programmes. Al Khaili also expressed his gratitude to MBRSC for this mutual cooperation, underscoring the importance of adopting best practices and enhancing the efficiency of national talent through this partnership.
Salem Humaid Al Marri, Director-General of MBRSC, added that strengthening ties with the Ministry of Interior is an important part of the centre’s strategic goals. This partnership will help achieve future aspirations by empowering staff through innovative training programmes, reinforcing the centre’s commitment to creativity and innovation.
Al Marri also noted that the MoU will enable the implementation of developmental training programmes, with both parties set to coordinate efforts through regular meetings and visits. This cooperation will ensure the
successful application of the MoU’s provisions and maximise its benefits for both organisations.
