Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities’ Board of Trustees adopts new policies to enhance university’s academic journey

ABU DHABI: The Board of Trustees of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities held its third meeting of the year, chaired by Dr. Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli, Chairman of the Board.

During the meeting, several new policies and amendments were adopted to support the university’s progress and development.

The Board also reviewed the strategic plan and key performance indicators for the third quarter of the current year. They further highlighted the goals and priorities achieved.

Additionally, the Board reviewed the academic accreditation and compliance report and discussed several important topics on the meeting agenda, including the financial report for the third quarter and a review of financial performance.

The discussion also covered ways to ensure optimal use of financial resources in line with the university’s strategic goals.

The Board also reviewed updates on academic programs and future projects, focusing on enhancing operational efficiencies and developing the technical infrastructure to support ac
ademic innovation and achieve institutional excellence.

Dr. Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli emphasised the Board of Trustee’s commitment to adopting comprehensive work plans and future academic visions that align with the UAE’s strategy to advance higher education. These efforts aim to create a qualitative shift in educational outcomes to produce highly skilled professional cadres who contribute to the UAE’s development across various fields.

He also stated that the board’s decisions support the university’s aspirations to expand and grow in the field of humanities, both locally and internationally, and to promote knowledge and scientific research.

The Chairman added that Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities is steadily advancing its scientific and academic visions in the field of human and social studies.

He pointed out that the university’s academic programs are periodically reviewed and updated to introduce new dimensions to the educational journey in the UAE. This ensures alignment with the university
‘s mission to develop high-quality education strategies that meet the needs of the desired development, which is based on the knowledge economy, creativity, and innovation.
