Muhammad Najjar, Minister of Water and Irrigation, signed a deal on Tuesday to build a JD1.71 million water pumping station to serve numerous Salt governorate communities.
According to Najjar, the 12-month initiative would enhance the environment, safeguard subterranean and surface water sources, particularly springs in the region, from pollution, and provide environmental solutions for the people of the Shafa al-Amriya area.
It will also convey water to the Central Salt Station for treatment in accordance with best practices, serve rural locations, solve environmental concerns, and expand sanitary services to new areas.
