Ministers of youth & environment witnessed a session entitled “The Climate Issue from Glasgow to Sharm El Sheikh” during Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership. The Fellowship is organized by the Youths and Sports Ministry
More than 150 young man and woman representing 70 African, Asian, Latin American and European countries took part in the third edition of the fellowship.
Sobhy stressed the need to take advantage of the great potential of the young people around the world to play a positive role in addressing the effects of security and climate in their societies.
During her speech, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, stressed the importance of holding dialogue sessions with young people on various environmental issues, especially climate change, to raise awareness of this important issue affecting all walks of life.
She emphasized that the political leadership put the environmental file at the top of its priorities, so that development processes take into account the environment and natural resources.
