The minister’s statements came during a video link meeting with Dr Ahmed Ismail, Chairman of Queens Gynaecology Clinic in London, England, to discuss cooperation on training Egyptian medics in collaboration with the British nurses authority.
A statement issued by the ministry on Monday said the meeting also dealt with plans of merging Egyptian doctors abroad in the strategy of supporting Egyptian medical system and take care of Egyptians as well as promoting Egyptian medical tourism.
The minister said she discussed with Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar the needs of Egyptian doctors abroad, pointing out that a number of Egyptian expatriate doctors have the desire to support the national medical system.
For his part, Dr Ismail hailed efforts exerted by the minister to support Egyptian expatriates especially scientists pointing out to a proposal to train Egyptian medical teams in cooperation with the British nurses authority.
