Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, participated in the ministerial conference organized by the University Agency of La Francophonie, as part of the activities of the fourth edition of the World Francophone Scientific Week held in the French city of Toulouse, in the presence of Mr. Patrick Hetzel, French Minister of Higher Education.
During the conference, which lasted for a full day and included three ministerial sessions, various aspects of scientific and educational cooperation between Francophone countries were discussed. The sessions also included the introduction of two initiatives, namely the PIMEF initiative and the initiative to promote international publication of scientific research in the French language.
The first initiative, PIMEF, presented by the University Agency of La Francophonie, aims to enhance mobility and academic exchange among students in different Francophone countries. It also seeks to provide study and training opportunities in various educatio
nal institutions within the network of Francophone universities; in a way that enhances cultural and academic exchange and develops scientific and professional skills among students.
