CAIRO: Minister of Public Business Sector Mohamed Shemi emphasized the pivotal role of the industrial sector in underpinning the economic strength of nations, while detailing efforts by his ministry to advance affiliated companies and meet strategic objectives aligned with Egypt Vision 2030 for sustainable development and government programs, including the State Ownership Policy Document. Shemi’s remarks were made at a Nasr Automotives event celebrating the resumption of production, attended by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Minister of Transport and Industry Kamel el Wazir, Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat, Governor Ibrahim Saber, as well as several ambassadors and parliament members.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Shemi underscored the project as a testament to the achievements possible through dedicated collaboration between the government and both local and foreign private sectors, aimed at enhancing Egypt’s infrastructure an
d industrial capacity. He expressed gratitude to the political leadership for their unwavering support of the public business sector, which he views as critical for economic development and resilience.
