Minister of State for Military Production Engineer Mohamed Salah El Din said the ministry signed a cooperation protocol with New Cairo Technological University (NCTU) on joint cooperation in a number of scientific, research and industrial projects.
During the signing ceremony Wednesday, the minister said cooperation fields will include engineering consultations, along with implementation of works at a number of ventures and carrying out joint researches, with a view to localizing industry components, in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives.
All drives are meant to broaden establishment of a strong link between scientific research and development of best-in-class nuts and bolts of local industry, in a way that goes with the latest advances and trends in this respect, as well as offer training for NCTU students, he said.
For his part, NCTU President Dr. Hisham Ezzat el-Deeb said the agreement will further help present specialized training courses to the the University’s students, hailing the Ministry of State for Military Production’s potentials on this score, that all push toward attaining serve sustainable development goals.
