State Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salaheldin Moustafa received on Monday Czech Ambassador to Egypt Ivan Jukl to discuss means of enhancing joint cooperation.
During a meeting held at the ministry, both sides lauded the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in defense industries.
They also reviewed the latest developments pertaining to the ongoing cooperation between the ministry’s-affiliate companies and the Czech firms.
The minister, meanwhile, stressed his desire to strengthen cooperation with the Czech companies working in the similar field given its expertise and advanced industrial technology.
The minister also invited the Czech companies to participate in Egypt defense expo (EDEX 2023), pointing out to the distinguished participation of the Czech companies in the expo in 2018 and 2021.
The ambassador, for his part, said that the meeting represents a perfect opportunity to enhance bilateral cooperation in light of the Czech presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2022.
He also highlighted the role of Military Production Ministry in supporting and encouraging investment, voicing keenness on increasing his country’s investments in Egypt.
