Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Monday sponsored the Arab Scout Association’s conference in Lebanon under the slogan “Our Values Protect Us”, held at the International Training and Conference Center of Middle East Airlines in Beirut.
In his speech, Prime Minister Mikati stated, “You represent the family that, if mended, mends the nation and flourishes its structure. You have chosen the slogan of your conference and its axis, which is the value that protects society from all destructive ailments. The nation needs your values and needs every young woman and man.”
Moreover, Mikati commended the association for its commitment to promoting sound education for contemporary societies, especially highlighting the role of women in governance and leadership.
Mikati also congratulated the association on its “strategy that emphasizes sustainable development and its implementation on the ground through scouting programs.”

h him, the working teams, leaders, and members of this association, which has demonstrated its full commitment to the values of genuine citizenship and its fulfillment of the national duty in activating the role of youth in times of crisis.”
