Migration min. calls for linking scientists & experts abroad with young entrepreneurs

Migration Minister Nabila Makram stressed the importance of linking Egyptian scientists and experts abroad with the young Egyptian entrepreneurs in the various domains.

 

This came during a “Zoom” meeting with MP Ahmed Fathi, who is the founder of the Youth Leader Foundation (YLF) and member of the Presidential Advisory Council of Scientists and Experts of Egypt Prof. Dr. Victor Rizkallah to discuss means of benefiting from the experience of the Egyptian scientists abroad.

 

In a statement on Friday, the Migration Ministry said that the meeting was also attended by several members of the YLF’s working team; topped by Deputy CEO of the Foundation Osama Hisham, Director of Leadership and Technical Education Programs Dr. Safaa Hosny and Amira Thabet, the coordinator of the “She Leads” Program which seeks to equip female entrepreneurs and women in business to apply innovation and technology in products and services that make a positive social impact.

 

During the meeting, the minister lauded the hands-on and unrivalled experience of Prof. Dr. Victor Rizkallah, who was the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Hannover University in Germany, according to the statement.

 

The minister further noted that Egypt will launch the sixth edition of “Egypt Can by Industry” Conference in March, under the sponsorship of “She Leads” Women’s Leadership Program, the statement added.

 

“She Leads” is a flagship program of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). It works to empower women with the skills and knowledge to participate and take on leadership roles in political and electoral processes through a series of beginner, intermediate and advanced trainings.
