GAZA: Five civilians were killed today in an Israeli airstrike west of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that paramedics from the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) retrieved the bodies of five people from the vicinity of Al-Firdaws School west of Rafah city following Israeli warplanes targeting a group of civilians.

Meanwhile, at least four people were injured following an airstrike on a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City in the central Gaza Strip.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October of last year has so far resulted in 39,363 documented Palestinian fatalities, the majority of whom are women and children, in addition to 90,923 injuries.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, with rescue teams unable to reach them.
