Al-Quds – Director of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Omar al-Kiswani, expressed his deep gratitude and great appreciation to HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, for humanitarian medical aid operation for the Palestinian population in Gaza.
This act of generosity comes at a good time to alleviate the urgent need for medical and first-aid products in the Gaza strip, in the grip of a true humanitarian crisis, Al-Kiswani told MAP, expressing his deep gratitude to the Sovereign for His constant support for the Palestinian people.
The delivery of this aid by land is of the utmost importance in these circumstances, marked by escalation and obstacles to the entry of humanitarian aid, which testifies to the personal commitment of His Majesty the King to the smooth running of this operation, he underlined.
“I can only express my heartfelt thanks to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the help he has given our people in Gaza, particularly through the delivery of this batch of essential medical products”, the direct
or of the Al-Aqsa Mosque said.
In this regard, he expressed the hope that the ongoing efforts could be crowned with success and pave the way for an end to the war, the dispatch of more aid, the lifting of the blockade and a return to normal life in the Gaza Strip.
The aid ordered by His Majesty the King is comprised of 40 tons of medical products containing, notably, equipment for the treatment of burns and surgical and traumatological emergencies as well as essential medicines, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
