Minister of International Cooperation Rania el Mashat headed Monday to Brussels to take part in the 10th meeting of the EU-Egypt Association Council, headed by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
In a statement Monday, the ministry said that Mashat will review, during participation in the meeting, the distinguished cooperation with the institutions of the Team Europe Initiative (TEI) 2020-2023, and the preparation for future cooperation on topics of common interest between the two sides.
This comes within the framework of coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and various national agencies to implement presidential directives regarding the continuous review of international cooperation frameworks.
The bilateral cooperation program between Egypt and the European Union is currently being implemented between 2021-2027, to support development efforts in Egypt in the various fields.
