Manpower Minister Hassan Shehata hailed on Sunday the deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and Qatar.

This came during his meeting with his Qatari counterpart Ali bin Samikh Al Marri on the sidelines of the 48th round of the Arab Labour Organization conference, held under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Shehata asserted Egypt’s keenness on fostering relations with all Arab states within efforts to address common issues and face regional challenges.

Marri hailed Sisi’s recent visit to Doha, describing it as important and successful at all levels.

The ministers discussed the situation of the Egyptian labour in Qatar while Marri stressed his country’s keenness to attract more Egyptian labour to work in Qatar.
