Ambassador for Malta on climate change issues Simon Borg voiced Wednesday her appreciation and pleasure that Egypt, as an African and Mediterranean country, would host the COP27.

Borg’s comments came during her meeting with Egypt’s ambassador to Malta Khaled Anis, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

During the meeting, Borg pointed out that she would spare no effort to ensure a high-level participation in the conference.

For his side, Anis expounded Egypt’s preparations for the conference and its planned targets to address the concerns of the African and developing countries.
