Malaysia Delivers Aid to 1,400 Families in Palestinian Camps

The Malaysian Embassy distributed aid to 1,400 families in Palestinian refugee camps in Zarqa Governorate on Sunday.

For his part, Rafiq Kharfan, Director General of the Department of Palestinian Affairs praised Malaysia’s initiative, underlining that this support reflects the strength of relations between Jordan and Malaysia.

Kharfan also highlighted Malaysia’s significant contributions to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which, in cooperation with the Jordanian government, works to enhance living conditions in the Kingdom’s 13 Palestinian refugee camps, home to around 70,000 refugees.

Malaysian Ambassador Mohammad Nasri Abdul Rahman, who visited the Hittin camp to oversee the aid distribution, expressed gratitude for the Department of Palestinian Affairs’ efforts in organizing the aid distribution and reiterated Malaysia’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and refugees.
