Malawian Transport Minister Jacob Hara lauded the urban boom that Egypt is witnessing under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Hara’s remarks to this effect came during his meeting with Egyptian Ambassador in Lilongwe Mohamed El Sherif, according to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on its Facebook page.

The Malawian minister expressed his appreciation of training courses and scholarships offered by Egypt to qualify Malawian cadres in different fields, the statement said.

The pair discussed means of fostering bilateral cooperation in the sectors of transportation and infrastructure, the statement read.
