Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli emphasized the importance of land reclamation and the priority it is given at the current stage, noting that efforts are underway to follow up on the status of projects carried out by the Egyptian Countryside Development Company; with a view to propelling work on agricultural land reclamation projects.
The prime minister made the remarks during his meeting on Monday with Chairman of the Egyptian Countryside Development Company Amr Abdel Wahab.
During the meeting, Abdel Wahab presented a thorough report on the areas included in projects to develop the Egyptian countryside.
The official reviewed the use of those pieces of land in agriculture or other activities, such as livestock and poultry industries, agro-industry, and fish farming.
He noted that beneficiaries of such activities include investors, young farmers, in addition to those who have legalized their status.
