Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli discussed on Monday at the Cabinet headquarters in the New Alamein City with Mahmoud Momtaz, head of the Egyptian Competition Authority, efforts exerted during the past year to protect consumers from monopolistic practices.
The meeting tackled efforts to support competition and neutrality and back the state agencies in protecting the consumers.
Momtaz said his agency has been working on spreading the culture of competition through holding workshops.
