Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli recently inspected the renovation project of Nasser Institute Hospital, which is set to be transformed into the Nile Medical City. This initiative marks a significant step in enhancing healthcare services for patients and citizens across Egypt.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli emphasized the project’s pivotal role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services. Situated strategically on Corniche el Nile, the establishment of Nile Medical City is expected to revolutionize healthcare delivery in the region. The state is committed to improving the quality of health services available to its citizens.
During the inspection, Madbouli was joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber, Assistant Health Minister for National Projects Anwar Ismail, and Director of Nasser Institute Hospital Mahmoud Saeed. Abdel Ghaffar highlighted the Health Ministry’s focus on expanding health projects and new cons
tructions across the governorates, with the renovation of Nasser Institute Hospital being a top priority. The transformation aims to make it the largest medical city in Egypt and the Middle East.
Abdel Ghaffar also stressed the ministry’s commitment, alongside relevant bodies, to equip the facility with the necessary medical equipment and a diverse range of specialized doctors. He noted that the Nasser Institute Hospital had not undergone renovation for 30 years until 2015, underscoring the importance of this current transformation.
