Madbouli Announces Implementation of New Social Protection Package for Next Fiscal Year


Cairo: Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli announced that the government is in the process of developing a new social protection package aimed at increasing salaries and pensions. The initiative is expected to be implemented at the beginning of the next fiscal year.



According to State Information Service Egypt, the package will undergo examination and finalization before being presented to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for approval. Madbouli shared these details during a press conference following the weekly cabinet meeting.



The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s preparations for the Holy Fasting Month of Ramadan, focusing on securing citizens’ needs and ensuring price stability. “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions, part of these preparations, have been organized nationwide since February.



Additionally, Madbouli mentioned a recent meeting with the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance for Civilian and Development Action. He highlighted the government’s commitment to working closely with civil society organizations over the next three months to reach low-income families and improve their living standards.
