French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El Sisi on his ability to bring together the world leaders in order to solve all issues related to climate changes during the latest UN Climate Change Conference (COP27).

Macron made the remarks during a speech he delivered on Tuesday 20/12/2022 at the 2nd edition of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, held on the shores of the Dead Sea in Jordan.

COP27 was hosted by Egypt’s Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh from November 6 to 18.

The French leader also congratulated Qatar on its success in organizing the FIFA World Cup 2022.
