This came during a Cabinet meeting held on Thursday 7/7/2022 under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.

The trial operation of this system was launched on April 15, he said, adding that 153 companies have registered on the system since July 1.
The number of e-invoices currently stands at 479,000, noted the minister.
Deputy Minister of Finance for Public Treasury Ihab Abu Aish, for his part, said that the core tax system aims to combat all forms of tax evasion and raise the overall efficiency of tax collection.
He also reviewed the executive position of the first phase of the core tax system, noting that this system will be fully operational during this month.
