The International Federation of Lebanese Businessmen and Women MIDEL, headed by Dr. Fouad Zamakhel, organized a dialogue lunch with the United Nations Special Coordinator, Ioana Frontska, in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board.

The attendees explained the economic, financial, monetary and social problems experienced by all economic and productive sectors in Lebanon, and presented some solutions or strategies that can be followed up to stop the bleeding.

They stressed that “it is impossible to restore Lebanon and its economy without international support, especially from the United Nations, external financing through the International Monetary Fund, and support from donor countries, to restore the economic cycle.”
