LONDON: Liverpool’s Jota’s goal on nine minutes secures the 1-0 victory for the Reds at Selhurst Park.

The Portuguese forward netted his first league goal since the opening weekend on just nine minutes at Selhurst Park, darting in behind to pick out the bottom-left corner. It could have been a different story, though, as Palace attacker Eddie Nketiah had a goal ruled out for offside inside the first minute.

The Eagles pushed hard for an equaliser but could not breach Liverpool’s backline despite generating a late flurry of chances.

In another clash, Saka starred in Arsenal comeback win over Southampton. The Winger involved in all three goals in 3-1 victory after Gunners survive scare from the Saints.

In another tie, City beat Fulham 3-2 in a pulsating Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium. The visitors took the lead through Andreas Pereira, but Kovacic found the net twice to turn the game on it’s head shortly after the interval. Jeremy Doku’s stunner made it 3-1 before Rodrigo Muniz pulled a goal back
for the Cottagers late on.
