Lebanon Receives More Humanitarian Aid from Jordan

The Lebanese army on Monday received humanitarian aid from Jordan, the second shipment in two weeks, as part of support of Lebanon to overcome challenges facing the country.

In a statement, the Lebanese army confirmed that a Jordanian aircraft carrying humanitarian aid landed in Lebanon, where it was received by Jordanian Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Hadid and a representative of the Lebanese army command.

In a phone call, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati thanked His Majesty King Abdullah II for Jordan’s constant support of his country in various sectors.

The aid plane left Jordan yesterday upon royal directives to help Lebanon address current difficulties.
