Minister of Labor Mohamed Gibran met on Monday at the Ministry’s headquarters in the new administrative capital with Ambassador Saleh bin Eid Al-Hosni, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Egypt, and his accompanying delegation to discuss aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of labor and labor mobility.The minister stressed the depth of historical relations between the two countries in promoting joint Arab action and facing challenges.

Minister Gibran reviewed with the Saudi Ambassador the process of developing the Ministry’s vocational training system in order to provide skilled Egyptian workers trained to the needs of the labor market at home and abroad, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

The two sides discussed the plan to expand the number of vocational training centers equipped to conduct vocational examination procedures for the Egyptian worker before his travel, educate him on his rights and duties, and ensure that he poss
esses the required skills, in accordance with the agreement signed between the two countries.

The minister explained that the Egyptian state is keen to enhance the skill of the worker and increase his competitive abilities abroad, explaining that the Ministry of Labor’s strategy in this direction is in full swing, and that the ministry is ready to provide workers to meet all the needs of the labor market in the Kingdom.
