Labor Minister Alerts Citizens to Beware of Fraudulent Job Advertisements

Cairo: Labor Minister Mohamed Gobran has issued a warning to citizens seeking employment opportunities both domestically and internationally, highlighting the proliferation of fraudulent job advertisements on certain websites and social media platforms. In an official statement released on Sunday, the minister emphasized the importance of vigilance when searching for job openings and advised citizens to avoid engaging with suspicious online sources.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister Gobran urged individuals to report any fake job advertisements to the appropriate authorities promptly. By doing so, he hopes to curb the spread of misleading information that can potentially exploit job seekers. The minister reassured the public that legitimate job vacancies are consistently published via the ministry’s official website and its Facebook page, ensuring a reliable source for employment opportunities.

In his statement, Minister Gobran underscored the need for caution, as the rise of digital platforms has facilitated the dissemination of false job offers, increasing the risk of fraud. The ministry remains committed to safeguarding citizens from such deceptive practices and encourages the public to utilize official channels for their job search endeavors.
