Cairo: Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Hassan Khatib stated that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Spain has increased to $3 billion. Khatib emphasized the balanced and growing trade relations between the two countries.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Khatib highlighted that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi praised Spain’s political positions in light of current developments. The minister also mentioned that his ministry is working closely with the Spanish Ministry of Economy to enhance trade exchange and investments between the two nations.
Khatib further pointed out that over the past decade, the Egyptian state has upgraded its infrastructure to attract investments. This strategic development is aimed at fostering a conducive environment for boosting trade and economic ties with countries like Spain.
