The Centre for Judicial Research and Studies at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has unveiled the thirteenth issue of its peer-reviewed scientific journal, “Judiciary and Law.”
This latest release includes a collection of specialised research and studies aimed at enhancing the landscape of judicial practices. The journal serves as a vital resource for staying attuned to judicial jurisprudence, tracking global legislative advancements, and addressing the complexities arising from social and economic transformations.
The latest editorial in the electronic edition of the magazine delves into the Department’s initiatives under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.
It highlights the Department’s commitment to advancing and fortifying the legal culture in Abu Dhabi, considering it a fundamental cornerstone for the court and a steadfast central axis for enhancing
its structure and reinforcing its capabilities.
Emphasis is placed on the crucial role of research and innovation in fulfilling the department’s significant mission of ensuring justice and safeguarding rights.
It also worked to advance the system of proof in civil and commercial matters, as well as the development of electronic verification techniques.
As for the significance of investment legislation in enhancing the business environment, the study focused on elucidating the crucial role played by legal and economic jurisprudence in general.
Additionally, it highlighted the broader role of economic legislation, with a particular focus on investment, in maintaining a stable macroeconomic climate and fostering business growth.
Titled “Enhancing the Appeal of Emirati Soft Power through Legislation,” the study covered the factors influencing the UAE’s adoption of the soft power model. It scrutinised various elements, including the federal model, economic development strategies, efficient government administ
ration, a commitment to humanitarian responsibility, and the promotion of tolerance, coexistence, cultural exchange, and intellectual openness.
