Journalists’ Syndicate calls for international intervention to determine fate of missing journalists

The Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate has called upon the International Red Cross and international organizations to intervene and help ascertain the fate of two Palestinian journalists, Nidal Al-Wahidi and Haitham Abdelwahid, who have gone missing while covering the Israeli aggression on Gaza. In a statement this evening, the syndicate expressed deep concern over the sudden disappearance of Al-Wahidi and Abdelwahid during their coverage of the developments near the Beit Hanoun military checkpoint in the northern Gaza Strip. Contact with the two journalists has been lost, leading to grave concerns for their safety and well-being. The syndicate urged the international community and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to ensure the safety of the missing journalists, emphasizing the importance of protecting journalists and ensuring their safety as they carry out their crucial work in providing information to the public.
