Jordan’s Grand Mufti, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Hasanat, on Sunday took the oath of office before Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, following issuance of a Royal Decree appointing him for this post. The oath is taken in accordance with provisions of Article (67) of Civil Service Law No. (9) of 2020 and its amendments. Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Jazi, attended the swearing-in ceremony.
