The Jordanian Royal Diwan said on Tuesday 17/10/2023 that a four-way summit will convene on Wednesday 18/10/2023 in Amman with the participation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, US President Joe Biden, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to discuss the latest developments in Gaza and its repercussions on the region as well as means of working out a political bid to revive the Middle East peace process.
In a statement on Tuesday 17/10/2023, the Jordanian Royal Diwan said King Abdullah is to hold separate meetings with each of Sisi and his American and Palestinian counterparts.
The talks will focus on means of halting current war in Gaza in view of serious repercussions on the region, in addition to securing the access of humanitarian aid and relief to the enclave.
The Jordanian king will host a tripartite summit with the Egyptian and Palestinian presidents.
