RIYADH: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan discussed, in a phone call, the dangerous Israeli escalation in the West Bank, and the need for the international community to take action to protect our people.
A statement by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said that the call comes “within the framework of the joint Arab consultation and coordination process regarding developments in Gaza.”
The statement indicated that the two ministers discussed “the dangerous Israeli escalation in the occupied West Bank, and the need for the international community and the Security Council to take action to provide the necessary protection for Palestinian people and stop Israeli violations.”
Safadi and his Saudi counterpart stressed “the continuation of coordination and consultation in efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza and deliver sufficient and sustainable aid to the Strip, and protect the region from the consequences of the aggression, and the risk of the situation
in the region deteriorating into a regional war.”
