Crews from Jordanian Field Hospital Nablus/4 began treating patients in the city of Nablus on Sunday, offering medical and therapeutic services to lessen the impact of the suffering that the people of the West Bank are going through.
“The initiative fits within the larger plan of Jordan’s medical and humanitarian outreach to the Palestinian people,” said the hospital’s force commander, stressing that the medical and emergency crews are working with all their capabilities to provide the best medical and therapeutic services to the people in Nablus and neighboring villages under the current circumstances.
On the first day, the hospital received 783 cases, including minor operations, chronic diseases, laboratory tests, and internal emergencies, through integrated clinics.
The hospital contains medical clinics of various specialties, including pediatrics, gynecology, internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, dermatology, ophthalmology, otology, dental, and general medicine, in addition to two major operating r
ooms, one minor operating room, two intensive care rooms, a radiology and sterilization laboratory, and a pharmacy.
The medical staff includes highly qualified and experienced physicians and nurses, as well as allied medical professionals.
This effort comes as part of the noble humanitarian and medical mission that the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) began providing in implementation of royal directives in November 2023.
The residents expressed their thanks for Jordan’s efforts under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II for its honorable stances towards the Palestinian people.
