Jordanian expats’ remittances increase in years’ first half

Remittances from Jordanian expatriates abroad to the Kingdom increased by 3.6 per cent during the first half of 2024, according to data the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) made available.

According to CBJ preliminary data, remittances increased by 3.6 per cent to reach $1.7442 billion, compared to $1.6838 billion during the same period in 2023.
